This World Geography course explores the world’s physical, cultural, and economic geography. Students discover the world’s various regions as “interns” at a fictional digital media organization called GEOTREX. During this “internship,” students offer personal accounts of experiences to friends, family, and future travelers. Their experiences focus on geographical landscapes, cultural characteristics, and economic structures. Students also provide rich content to post on GEOTREX’s social media pages. These posts tell the story of their journey around the globe. They also provide students with reflections, images, and other media that will change how they look at life and their local surroundings.
