WHRO Public Media is committed to helping teachers throughout Virginia. Each month WHRO educators curate resources that will help teachers engage students around themes and events occurring that month. Additionally, our eMediaVA ambassadors publish blog posts about their favorite eMediaVA resources and how they like to use them.

Recently, we received feedback from a local teacher who used our collection of resources for Hispanic Heritage Month.

"Thanks for the suggestion of Rosie’s Rules during Hispanic Heritage Month," said Laurie Sullivan, a teacher with Arlington Public Schools. "In one of my pre-K classes, all the students speak Spanish and they really enjoyed hearing Rosie Fuentes and her family use some Spanish words in the video."
